1. Use ultrasonic cleaning. The vibration removes dirt and grime. Most optical shops offer this service, usually free.
2. If the lens holders on full-rimmed frames are dirty, you can loosen the screws, remove the lenses, and wipe them clean with a tissue.
3. If the screws are loose, take them to an optical shop to have them tightened immediately. Otherwise, the lenses could easily fall and break. Do not attempt to handle them yourself.
4. Cosmetics or cosmetic products containing chemicals can easily cause discoloration of the frames. Please clean them with a special eyeglass cloth or tissue.
5. Most eyeglasses are designed to be folded gently from the left temple first. Forcing them to fold from the right first can cause the frame to become unbalanced and tilted, resulting in discomfort.
6. To ensure proper function, the optical center of the lenses is positioned correctly for your eyes. Please wear them in the correct position.
7. Using one hand to put on or take off eyeglasses can easily deform the frames. 8. If the frame becomes deformed, have a local optician adjust the angle. Do not attempt to adjust it yourself, as this may break the lenses and damage the frame.
9. Do not leave the glasses in direct sunlight for extended periods, as the frames are prone to fading under light and heat. This is especially important for acetate frames; drivers should not place them on the dashboard.
10. Dry the glasses with a lens cloth. Avoid contact with hard objects and do not rub the lenses with your fingers. Use a clean lens cloth to wipe the lenses to minimize scratches.
11. Do not place the lenses with the convex side facing down. When not in use, store them in the lens case. When not wearing the glasses, wrap them in a lens cloth and place them in the case to prevent damage.
12. Do not place the glasses near infants or young children while resting.
